September 10. Josh Spiker was the teams anchor and finished in

the finest relays I have even been a part of. It was well organized.I
really enjoy the music after the race and the Hawaiian drums running
into the finish line. Maui has a class event in the Hana Relay."
Team Captain, Louis Tomsic remarked "This was my first Hana
Relay. One of my favorite charities is the Hawaii Foodbank and
just wanted to do something to raise awhareness for folks who
are hungry in Hawaii. Eveyone can help by giving some food. I
am thankful that the weather was so good today."
Steve Moreno, who flew in from California said "I liked that
the Baldwin Cheerleaders were cheering me on at the start. It
gave me a boost of energy to hear all that positive energy to
begin the race. I also liked our van massage therapist Melissa.
Maui is such a beautiful island!" Steve Immel agreed that
Maui was a beautiful place. Scott Wietecha commented "I'm
lucky I made it to this race with 1 minute to spare, my luggage
is still at the airport."
Chris Larson noticed the 85 teams who were dressed in an array
of different outfits. "My favorite team where the wonder
women. They played the wonder women theme song and dressed the
part. I tried to get them to succumb to my charm but they didn't."
